The deceased Specialised Sergeant Mahmut Uslu was given a tearful burial in Ankara, as was Specialised Sergeant Gökhan Kılıç in Adana, First Lieutenant Tarık Koçoğlu in Kayseri and Specialised Sergeant Umut Aytekin in Karabuk. Specialised Sergeant Gökhan Kılıç’s father wept throughout the funeral.
