HDP SPOKESMAN AYHAN BİLGEN:
The HDP’s spokesman set out the reasons for their refusal to participate in the vote on the proposed constitutional amendment being debated on in parliament, noting, ‘We did not participate in the vote saying that you can count us out of this staged event.’
Bilgen, saying that one of the turning points in Turkish history has been treated with a lack of seriousness, asked why, if the constitution was being made for the people, there is a fear of unions and bar associations marching on parliament.’
