We are advancing in corruption!

Turkey’s anti-corruption rating fell again in 2016. Turkey, having dropped back nine places to be ranked 75 among 176 countries, is behind Saudi Arabia, Brunei and Namibia when it comes to fighting corruption.
Chair of the organisation that compiled the index, Transparency International, Ugaz, has noted, ‘Success has been attained in combatting corruption only in those countries where there is freedom of thought, transparency and strong democratic institutions.’
