The Reina assailant entered Turkey in January 2016

The Uzbek-origin terrorist who murdered 39 people at Reina on New Year’s Eve, Abdulkadir Masharipov, was apprehended alive in Istanbul Esenyurt. Istanbul Provincial Governor Şahin announced that the terrorist had confessed to his crime, and made the attention-grabbing comment that the assailant had entered Turkey illegally in January 2016. Governor Şahin said, ‘It is clear that the attack was staged on behalf of DAESH.’

DAESH MEMBER IN KONYA MONITORED

It has been learnt that the police tracked down the terrorist by monitoring a Daesh member in Konya. Arrested along with Masharipov in a midnight operation staged on an apartment in a residential complex in Esenyurt were one Iraqi man and three black women. It is said that the terrorists used the black women to avoid attracting attentions. At the cell house, 197,000 dollars and two drones were found.
