Terrorism used as a threat

‘YES’ BLACKMAIL
Government spokesperson Numan Kurtulmuş has said that terrorist acts would increase over the referendum process, but if ‘yes’ prevails they will abate. Kurtulmuş said, ‘After a ‘yes’ has emerged from the referendum, we will not hear a further peep from terrorist organisations.’
TERRORISM ADMISSION
A stern reaction to Kurtulmuş came from CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. Kılıçdaroğlu said, ‘This is tantamount to saying that terrorism will end if you bring in the single-man regime. The source of today’s terrorism is this government and the Government Spokesperson has also clearly admitted this.’
