Spring has come, but this is a false spring

The Press Council and the wives of our paper’s remanded managers and columnists congregated at Silivri. Press Council Chair Pınar Türenç called on journalists to be released pending trial and for indictments to be drafted immediately. Sevinç Kart said, ‘Spring has come but this is a false spring. The one I love is not at my side,’ while Semra Çelik said, ‘They are being held prisoner without being interrogated.’ Çağlayan Öz, for her part, said, ‘If you are unable to draft the indictment, these people are innocent.’
