Selin Sayek Böke turns Kılıçdaroğlu down

It has transpired that CHP Leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu sent an offer of CEC membership to former Party Spokesperson Selin Sayek Böke, whom he had included on his Party Assembly list. However, Böke, who brought out the “left manifesto” before the congress, declined the offer.

Following the CHP’s 36th Ordinary General Congress, announcement was made today of the Central Executive Committee (CEC) elected from within the Party Assembly. With Tuncay Özkan, who supported Muharrem İnce at the congress, included on the announced CEC, one person expected to take her place on the CEC was absent: Selin Sayek Böke, who entered the Party Assembly having obtained the second highest vote of 687 at the congress and who brought out the “Return to universal left values” manifesto along with İlhan Cihaner before the congress.
 
OFFER WAS SENT BUT IT WAS DECLINED

From what has been learnt, with Böke, to whom Kılıçdaroğlu had offered the post of deputy general chair with responsibility for “women and youth” policies, turning down the offer, the number of newly created deputy general chair posts fell from six to five.
