School turned blind eye to threats

It was stated in an announcement made by female students who were attacked the day before yesterday by a group wielding knives and chanting ‘God is great’ that, ‘We have been hearing the footsteps of yesterday’s event for two years. Even though the university management knew about them, a blind eye was turned to these threats.’ Deputy Rector Prof Dr Ege Yazgan left students’ questions unanswered.
