LEMAN MAGAZINE IS 25 YEARS OLD

The humorous magazine Leman has turned 25. Tuncay Akgün, one of the founders of the magazine and creator of the character Weary Bekir, says, ‘The pressure constrains us, but, come what may, there will be humour. There is ever less scope. Despite being afraid, we draw. The thing is to do it even if you’re afraid, and I think this is the definition of courage.’
