Good beating in the name of the presidential system

AKP women MPs’ response to independent MP Aylin Nazlıkaya’s protest in the form of handcuffing herself to the rostrum during the debate over the constitution turned violent. The AKP’s Gökçen Enç kicked parliamentary deputy speaker Pervin Buldan in the chest and the HDP’s Burcu Çelik Özkan had her hair pulled out. With the CHP’s Şafak Pavey’s prosthetic arm falling off after she fell to the ground, Nazlıkaya’s wrist was injured. Buldan was taken to hospital.
