An important symbol of freedom of speech

RSF’s Turkey representative, Erol Önderoğlu, who has nominated our paper’s publishing consultant Kadri Gürsel for the UNESCO Guillermo Cano Press Freedom Award, said the struggle for press and speech freedom was important. Önderoğlu said, ‘Gürsel is an important symbol for keeping the eyes of the world on the remanded journalists in Turkey.
