40,000 women unemployed

According to the 2016 figures in the Employment Bulletin of the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV), the number in insured salaried employment in November 2016 fell by 140,000 as against November 2015, while the number of ensured employees at small and medium-sized enterprises fell by 156,000. In the past year, 40,000 women have become insured unemployed.
