IMF: Turkey is pursuing consumption-focussed growth

In the International Monetary Fund report, predicting that Turkey will grow by 2.9% in 2017 and 3.3% in 2018, it is said, ‘Investment is weak due to increasing uncertainty and a sharp fall in loan growth.’ The IMF report stresses that consumption-focussed growth is continuing, with it being stated that the government has stepped up expansive fiscal policy.
