CLEAR LEAD FOR ‘NO’ ACCORDING TO AKAM

According to a poll by the Eurasia Public Opinion Research Centre (AKAM), 57.57 per cent of citizens will vote ‘No’ and 42.43 ‘Yes’ in the referendum on constitutional change in which a ‘party-affiliated presidency’ is touted. The breakdown by party in the poll conducted into 8,120 people in 26 provinces and sub-provinces between 3-9 March shows 69.4% of AKP voters favouring ‘Yes’. The corresponding figure among MHP supporters is 27.5%, and among the undecided, 23.5%.
