Atatürkism award to Velideoğlu

Our columnist Meriç Velideoğlu took the Atatürkism award at the 24^th Troy  Culture and Arts Awards. Velideoğlu, addressing the ceremony, said, ‘I accept this valued award on behalf of Cumhuriyet’s eleven valued columnists and managers who have reported the news in opposition to those who are strangling and trying to destroy press freedom.’
